The Can-Am Midgets presented by Miller Office Trailers can’t catch a break with Mother Nature. After a couple of weeks off, rain got the better of Round #8 out at the first of two visits to Grand Bend Speedway. Another week off, rain got the better of Round #9 (well, some of it), out at Flamboro Speedway.
The TQ Midgets rolled into Flamboro Speedway in Millgrove, Ontario for the third time and for Round #9 of the 2025 season. 15 cars on the property to beat the rain that was in the area. Practice laps were over, with heat races on deck. Races beginning with Darren McLennan in the #78 car winning heat race 1 and Dominique Smith in the #49 silver rocket taking heat race 2. Sherri Hogan in the #74 car finally getting a checkered flag at her home track. Hogan took home the Dash for Cash race presented by BW Towing. Drivers were strapped in their car set to go for the feature race when the rain was starting to fall. With two attempts for hot laps and to get the feature started, the rain was too much calling the races for the night.
