The Can-Am Midgets presented by Miller Office Trailers were back in action this past Saturday night. After round #2 was cancelled due to mother nature and after a couple of weeks off, teams returned to Flamboro Speedway in Millgrove, Ontario. The TQ midgets alongside with the Pure Stocks, were the support series to the APC United Racing Series.

17 cars signed into the back gate and lined up in the pits for the evening. Notable drivers of Ryan Fraser returning to the series in the #49 car owned by Cliff Walsh. Another notable driver of Cam Thomson making his debut in the #55 car owned by Cory Whittam. Heat races began the race events off with heat race 1 going to the 2021 series champion, Jeff Blackburn in the #7 car while heat race 2 went to the current and defending champion of Daniel Hawn in the #42 car. A quick turn around on this specific night with the APC series running a tight schedule.

The now 30-lap feature event saw Robert Polillo Jr (53) and Richard Woodland (84) on the front row. The top shooters had their work cut out for them with starting mid field and having to find their way forward. Caution would quickly fly with a single car spin by Jody Bound. Quickly lining back up, the green flag came back out with a full restart ahead. The drivers keeping it clean, went green all the way to the checkered flag with Hawn claiming his first victory of the 2025 season. Blackburn and Darren McLennan (78) join him on the podium. Jaden Riddell (13) and Adam Racine (05) round out the top 5.

Tyler Cullen (43), James Stanley (57), Polillo Jr (53), Sherri Hogan (74x), Alex Connell (96), Larry Lawson (42x), Fraser (49), Andrew Whelan (5), Woodland (84), Thomson (55), Bound (24), and Mike Westwood (8) round out the finishing order.

The Can-Am Midgets presented by Miller Office Trailers have a quick turn around with round #4 set for this coming Saturday, June 14th at Sunset Speedway in Innisfil, Ontario. Race day schedule and information will be released soon.
