The Can-Am Midgets presented by Miller Office Trailers rolled into their second to last race of the 2025 season. Hard to believe that 2025 is coming to an end already! Round #14 was up next at Flamboro Speedway in Millgrove, Ontario. Two races left for the championship to be decided. With James Stanley (57) on a hot streak, would he be able to make a late season charge for the championship?

Fifteen cars on hand to do battle. Heat race 1 saw the #05 of Adam Racine taking the checkered flag while heat race 2 went to the hottest driver in the TQ midgets right now, James Stanley in the #57 car. Heat 2 had some stories to it though, with the points leader Daniel Hawn in the #42 car. Hawn was on the outside, coming out of turn 4, when contact with Paul Jorgensen in the #68 car, sent the 42 car hard into the outside wall. This would make a long night for the crew to fix the car. Another Dash for Cash race was set for this week. Four cars, four laps of racing…all for non-points, just cash. Mike Westwood bringing out the #91 car, won the race along with some cash from Larry’s Small Engines of Orangeville. We appreciate the support week in and week out from Larry along with BW Towing.

Feature race was up next. The race came with less cars starting as the championship leader, Daniel Hawn unable to run his car due to too much damage to the frame of his car from the very hard hit in turn 4 in his heat race. The #84 of Richard Woodland gave his car up for Hawn to run for points. Hawn would run under his #42 number. Heat race 1 winner and the driver making a return to racing in 2025, Adam Racine (05) took the lead early in the race. Pulled out front until 2 laps to go when his engine expired and ended the chance at returning to victory lane. This inherited the lead to James Stanley (57) who would go on to win his fourth feature victory in a row. Darren McLennan (78) and Adrian Stahle (24) would finish on the podium.

Hawn (42) would rally to finish fourth and Tyler Cullen in the #43 car originally finished fifth, but missed the scales and was DQ’d. This brought the #53 car of Roberto Polillo Jr to fifth. Sherri Hogan (74), Larry Lawson (75), Adam Racine (05), Alex Connell (96), Jaden Riddell (13), Mike Westwood (91), Dominique Smith (49), and Tyler Cullen (43). Paul Jorgensen (68) and Richard Woodland (84) DNS.

There is a full month until the final round and the final race of the season which will also be held at Flamboro Speedway on September 20th.
