The 2023 race season is upon us! The grass is showing, the warm weather is trying to start up. The track promoters are working hard getting their grounds ready, and our TQ midget teams are giving their cars the finishing touches to be ready.
Mother Nature already won once, with nothing but rain across the province to cancel our initial tech/practice day last weekend at Flamboro Speedway. John was awesome, and bumped the first portion a couple of weeks to have a new day to shake all the cob webs off the drivers and have shake downs of their cars before the season starts. That new date is this coming Saturday, April 29th. Same pit notes as follows…
John has granted us to go in the pits at 11 a.m. to get our cars through tech and pass before hitting the track. They will sweep the pits just before 1 p.m. to open the gates. Cost is $25 per person to enter (pit side only). Rotating practice will begin at 1 p.m. There will be the home track divisions with us and about 4 rounds each throughout the day with practice ending at 7 p.m.
We hope to see everyone there to get our 58th race season as a club underway!
