Well Ladies and Gentleman…
It is finally RACE WEEK for the Can-Am TQ Midgets to kick off the 2020 season at Flamboro Speedway. We will be joined by the Pure Stocks, Mini Stocks, and the Canadian Vintage Modifieds. And thanks to the CVM club, all of the days events will be streamed LIVE on their channel on YouTube. TQ Midget move in time is from 12-12:45 p.m. No cars will be allowed to enter after that time. Drivers meeting around 1:30 with practice at 3:15 p.m. Racing starts with heat races for all divisions at 4 p.m.
Thank you to Flamboro Speedway for letting us come out and play. We really wish fans could be in the stands, but with all the regulations, this is not allowed at this time. Thank you to Kim Baynard, and Terry Watts for getting this show together for us. Thank you to all the officials that help out every year. Thank you to our club sponsors. Grisdales Enterprises, American Racer Tires, EPIC Racewear, Neely Auto Service, Flamboro Machine Shop, and Image Factor. Click the respected sponsor link on our homepage to visit their websites!
We have got some amazing people who have stepped up to help our club out this weekend for our one race show. Attached below are their businesses. If any of our drivers, crew, officials, fans are able to contact or see them this weekend, please thank them! We want to thank our Race Day sponsor Eric Wagner, owner of Wagner Painting. Eric has been around racing the past few years hiring Can-Am driver Jeff Blackburn in another series. And done some racing himself as well. We thank Eric for his support of our club. Our heat races are coming back for this show. Daniel Hawn who races the #42 TQ Midget, is sponsoring both of our heat races. Hawn does amazing work at HMCW, Hawn Motorsports Chassis Works. They help out many drivers across many series in Ontario. Thank you to the Hawn’s for their support. Mike Brittain has stepped up in many ways. He joined our club last season as an official in the corners of the race track. Mike has generously supported our club and is helping out by sponsoring the half way leader on lap 15. Thank you Mike and everyone who has help support this club during these hard times!
Be sure to keep up to date on our website, facebook and instagram pages. Remember, we go live this coming Saturday, July 25th at 3:45 p.m. from Flamboro Speedway on the Canadian Vintage Modifieds CVM channel on YouTube. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to ask Kim Baynard or Luc Munsie. Thank you to all of our fans and we hope that we can see you at the track very soon!
